DESROCHES – William Daniel, of Wantagh. On Sunday morning, August 6, 2023, our son, grandson, brother and beloved family member, Will, passed away. Words cannot even describe the kind of pain this has brought to all of us in our family. However, we want to take this time to let people know what kind of a person William was. He was the sweetest boy. Anything and everything he did was amazing, whether it was dirt bike riding, snow boarding, lacrosse, soccer, or fishing. If something was broken he could look at it and fix it right away. He was so undeniably funny and made everyone smile. It goes without saying that everyone who met Will, loved Will. We know his memory and legacy will live on and touch others. Fifteen years will never be enough for all of us to have had him in our lives, but we are so very blessed for the time that we did have with him. People are put on this earth to learn and fulfill their life’s purpose and Will did exactly that. He had this amazing sense of self. Most people go through their entire lives searching and trying to figure out what they want out of life. But Will knew. From three years old he wanted to join the military and that was his plan. When Will made up his mind about something, it happened. He planned to join the US Special Forces and was continuing to strive for that goal. He was such a hard worker and never let anyone down. Working at Tree Health with his band of brothers was something that William loved. Will came into our lives for a reason and that reason, above all else, was to show us how to love and live life. We love you so much William and this still does not feel real. We feel as if you’re going to come home and walk through the door like you always did…we know you will always be with us, wherever we go. Please watch over us all. Send us signs… we will always be watching for them.
