Thomas Warren Christian, age 73, of North Bellmore, New York, passed away on February 23, 2026 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Bethpage, New York. Born on December 2, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, Tom was the son of the late Marjorie (Reed) Christian and the late Francis J. Christian.
Originally from Seaford, after attending Seaford High School and Farmingdale College, Tom dedicated 42 years to his career at King Kullen, retiring as a Manager, in 2014. Outside of work, he served as a Volunteer Fireman/EMT/AMT for the Wantagh Fire Department, enjoyed playing softball, being a local softball Umpire, a Seaford Little League Coach and was an avid and loyal Yankees and Islanders fan. He spent and enjoyed many years of sharing Walt Disney World with his family, which he called his Happy Place.
Tom was the beloved and loving husband of Marilou (Alexanderson) Christian and was a devoted, adoring father to his late daughter, Jennifer Christian Butt (Joe),
In addition to his wife and daughter, Tommy is survived by his sister, Barbara Meade, of South Carolina, his brother John Christian (Norma) of Seaford, N.Y. and many nieces and nephews who loved him; Kevin Christian (Jenna), Cassie Christian (Ashe), Brian Christian (Skyler), Danielle Christian (Brandon), James Meade and Daniel Meade (Janet). He was also a Great-Uncle to nieces and nephews Jaime, Fay, Jessica, Austin, Evin, Grace and Logan.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28th 2-4 PM
