MURPHY– Teresa M., on June 3, 2021, of Seaford. Longtime parishioner of St. William the Abbot and Seaford American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Beloved wife of the late Honorable George A. Loving mother of Michael (Patti O’Mahoney), Timothy (Colette), The Honorable Terence P. (Tracy), Mary Schroeder (Richard), James (Diane), Dr. Maureen Murphy (Albert Brandel), the late Margaret Ann, Christopher, Marjorie Consiglio (Joseph) and Paul (Vicky). Cherished grandmother of Brian, Alyson, Lindsay, Christopher, Mallory, Brendan, Sharon, Maggie, Lauren, Melissa, Patrick, Olivia, Jennifer, Matthew, Timothy, Michael, Kevin, Joseph, Mackenzie and Jack. Adored great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of William Short (Peggy), the late Mary Hurlie, the late Sister Ann Michael OP, and the late Betty Ann Larm. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Reposing Sunday, 6/6, and Monday, 6/7, 2:00-6:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 6/8, 10:30 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church, Seaford. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Seaford American Legion, Edwin Welch Post 1132, 2301 Penatiquit Ave., Seaford, NY 11783.
