Devoted father of Gloria Hoovert (Robert), Joseph (Kathleen), John (Christine) and James. Also survived by 10 cherished grandchildren. The family will receive guests at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 traffic lights east of Rte. 135) Saturday between 9 and 9:45 AM. Memorial Mass 10:15 AM at St. William the Abbot R.C. Church.
