Rose Marie Williams of Wantagh, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by her three children on January 8, 2022. She was born on October 23, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York to Alois and Mary Geiger. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Rose touched the hearts of so many.  Rose's greatest legacy is her family. It was always family first and she was most often found in the kitchen cooking feasts for those she loved. One of Rose’s greatest joys was spending time with her four grandchildren. She enjoyed travel and never passed on the opportunity to go to see a new part of the world. In her later years she spent part of the year in Naples, Florida where she and her two dachshunds Rosie and Rupert would warmly greet all in her community. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband of 42 years, Robert C. Williams, Sr. She is survived by her three children Robert Williams, Jr. and his wife Dr. Holly Burns, Laura Williams Ballou and her husband Ashton Ballou and Michele Williams; four grandchildren, Liam Ballou, Rachel Williams, Tucker Ballou, Robert Williams III; her two sisters, Joan Giannotti and Geraldine Giovanniello, her brother Joseph Geiger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting hours at Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, 3863 Merrick Rd Seaford, NY on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6:00-9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 14, 2022, 10:45 AM at St. William The Abbot R.C. Church, Seaford.
