Rose M. Vergone

Mrs. Rose M. Vergone at age 107 passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Rose was born on October 9, 1911 in Brooklyn, NY and was predeceased by her husband of 48 years Frank Vergone. She is survived by her 3 children Mary Ioime, Frank Vergone (Netty) and AnnMarie DeStefano (Joseph).  Rose was blessed to have 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.     She loved spending time with each one along with other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Rose walked with great faith and was the strength and comforter for her family.  The kindness, wisdom and grace she showed towards everyone she met were just some of her many gifts that made so many love her deeply.

In Lieu of flowers or gifts, please feel free to donate in her name to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.  Visiting Hours Thursday, January 3, 2019 10am-12pm.  Mass of Christian Thursday 12:30 PM at St. William the Abbot R.C. Church.  Interment to follow St. Charles Cemetery Farmingdale, NY.
