Ronald “Ronnie” Sisson, 69, of Copiague, New York, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on January 27, 1956,in Jamaica, Queens, Ronnie was the beloved son of the late May and Warren Sisson.A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Ronnie is survived by his wife, Mary Sisson; his children, Thomas Sisson (Karlene), Kelly O’Callaghan (Joseph), and Timothy Sisson (Tara); his sister, Karen Blaise; and his brother, Kennith Sisson. He leaves behind a legacy of grit, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.A lifelong mechanic, Ronnie’s passion was cars—he spent countless hours under the hood, tinkering, repairing, and perfecting his craft. He loved the smell of grease, the feel of the tools in his hands, and the satisfaction of solving a tough problem. He often dreamed of building his own muscle car, a testament to his lifelong admiration for craftsmanship and speed.Ronnie’s determination defined him. Known for being hard-headed and stubborn, he approached life with relentless perseverance—a quality that helped him continue working full time through over four years of fighting pancreatic and colon cancer. Those who knew him best will remember his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, no matter how busy or tired he was. His strength, humor, and loyalty will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.Ronnie Sisson’s legacy will live on in every engine tuned, every favor freely given, and every act of quiet strength that helps another along the way.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM
Religious Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3PM at the funeral home.
Funeral will be held on Monday, December 22nd 9:30 AM the funeral home.
