Robert M. Vollmer

Robert M. Vollmer, age 76, passed away on July 5, 2026, in Rockville Centre, in the same hospital where he came into this world. He brought joy and happiness to everyone he knew. He is survived by his siblings, Ken, Dave and Cathy Miller, many nieces and nephews, as well as his fiancé, Jean Moreno. Rob was co-owner of Bayside Marine in Amityville along with his brother Ken for 30 years. He was an avid boater all of his life and enjoyed swimming, surfing, water skiing and jet skiing. Rob had many dogs over the years but Bonnie was his constant companion for over 16 years. At Rob’s request, Bonnie’s ashes will be buried with him. Rob will be missed beyond measure and as long as we keep him in our hearts, he will be with us always.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9th 6-9 PM & Friday, July 10th  2-4 PM & 7-9 PM 

Religious Service will be held at the funeral home - TBD

Funeral Will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the funeral home 10 AM 

Interment to follow at Grace Church Cemetery, Massapequa, New York
