RAO- Robert P., on November 9th, 2017 of Wantagh. Beloved husband of Diane M. Dwyer. Loving father of Robert Jr. (Anne), Eric (Linda), Brian (Bradley), Christine Downey (Raymond), and Paul (Meghan). Cherished grandfather of 13. Adored brother of Lillian Remsen, George “Chic”, and Thomas Rao. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was Chief Deputy Sheriff of Nassau County and proudly held the rank of Captain for the US Army. He will be missed by many. Reposing Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G.
