Robert E.Layer, of Amityville NY, (formerly of Seaford) on February 15, 2025. Long time member Local 3 Electricians Union. Beloved husband of the late Elsie. Loving father of Robert T, Kathleen Draws (Michael) and Daniel (Kerri). Cherished grandfather of Kaitlin, Alexa, Nikole, Kimberly, Colin and Christopher. Dear brother of Jack and the late Marilyn. Reposing Tuesday 2-4PM and 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Funeral Service Wednesday, 10 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Seaford. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead, NY.
