LAWLER - Robert P., of Seaford, NY, passed away on December 7, 2021 and joined his wife Beverly in eternal peace. Robert was born in the Bronx on February 9, 1939 as one of 11 children to Daniel and Margaret Lawler and is survived by his brother John, and sister, Joan.  Bob Lawler was the loving father of five children, Margaret Burbige (Kevin), Robert (Deirdre), Beverly Rafferty (Christopher), Matthew (Kathleen), and Edward. He was the beloved grandfather to 11 grandchildren: Conor, Brandon, Kevin, Grace, Matthew, Robert, Natalie, Charles, Abigail, Mae and Timothy. Bob met his late wife, Beverly, at Met Life in New York City, where he worked as a project manager for 47 years. Bob and Beverly moved to Seaford in 1972 and joined St.William the Abbot parish.  Bob was a very active parishioner at St. Williams where he lectured, ran the Bishops Appeal and other fundraising efforts that contributed to the renovation and beautification of St. William the Abbot Church. He was awarded the Saint Agnes medal of service for his efforts and devotion to his parish. Bob Lawler will be remembered as a man who loved his family and believed in service to his community. Reposing Sunday, December 12, 2021, 2:00-6:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc , 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135).  Mass of Christian Burial Monday, December 13, 2021, 9:30 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church, Seaford.  Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
