Robert P. Chiaravalle

CHIARAVALLE – Robert P., of Long Beach, NY, lost his battle with brain cancer on September 11, 2018. Born on July 3, 1958, Robert grew up in Seaford. He began surfing in his teens honing his skills in Hawaii while proudly serving in the US Air Force. He took pride in having visited, surfed and snorkeled in every country in Central America. His love for his sisters was only surpassed by his love for his nieces and nephews. Robert will be welcomed beyond Heaven’s gates by his mother, Loretta. He is survived by his father, Patrick, his sisters, Stephanie DiSegni (Serge), Maria Maita (Sal), and Gabriella Bonocore (Chris). Reposing Sunday, 9/16, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford. (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135) Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 9/17, 10 AM at St. William the Abbot R.C. Church, Seaford.
