Richard D. Colton, on July 16, 2024. A Seaford resident since 1956. Proud U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran. Beloved husband of the late Joanna M. Loving father of Richard M. Colton (Deirdre) and Diana L. Donaldson (James). Cherished grandfather of James (Kelsey), Patrick (Sara) and Miles and adored great grandfather of Colton, Patrick and Jack. Reposing Monday 5-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, NY (2 Traffic Lights East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:45 AM at St. William The Abbot R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory to www.PVA.org and www.woundedwarriorproject.org would be appreciated.
