Raffaela Amoroso

Raffaela was the best. She was not only a wonderful mother, but also a devoted wife, a loving grandmother, and a proud Nonna. She was a wonderful sister and dear friend to many. Family was everything to her, and she found her greatest joy in bringing everyone together around her kitchen table. She was an incredible cook, an amazing baker and seamstress. There was nothing she loved more than preparing delicious meals for the people she loved. 

Raffaela and her husband, Joe shared their love of boating, clamming, and crabbing on the Great South Bay. She made the most delicious linguine with white clam sauce and an unforgettable red crab sauce that became a family favorite, especially on Christmas Eve. Her favorite hobbies was playing bingo and watching anything on the Hallmark Channel! She also treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. Becoming a great grandmother (Nonna) brought her immense happiness, and the love she gave them created memories they will carry with them forever. 

Her kindness, generosity, and love for her family were the heart of our home and she will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4th 4-8 PM 

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 5th 11:15 AM
