Paul M. Thearle

Paul Thearle passed away on Sunday, August 25th with his loving wife Christine by his side after an almost 6 year battle with Stage 4 Cancer. To say Paul got knocked down and got up again is an understatement. He courageously fought the battle with the attitude of a true Marine. Paul would say he wanted to live until he was 59, the age in which his father died. He passed away just one day after his father did forty years ago.
Paul grew up in Levittown, the ninth of ten children to the late John and Jean Thearle. He will be forever in the hearts of his wife Christine and daughters Shannon and Bridget, his sisters Regina (the late Doug), Cathy (Ron), Mary (John); his brothers Tommy (Bessie), Peter (Debbie), Patrick (Jen), thirty-two nieces and nephews. Cherished son in law of Tom & Chris McDonald.  Dear brother in law of Matthew, Mary (Jon), Joseph (Megan) & Peter (Soo).
He is predeceased by his brothers George, Michael and Reggie.
Paul will be missed by so many but, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. We know he has joined his friends and family in the best place for cocktail hour and fun!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests random acts of kindness for anyone experiencing a Cancer diagnosis - Send a card, cook a meal, offer a ride - Something as simple as sending a message, letting them know that you care. Cancer affects more than just the person going through it but their whole family as well. Paul was grateful to have the support of some amazing people during his battle and we can’t think of a better way to honor him. Above all, please remember to pray for those who have cancer.
