Marletta T. Stevenson

Marletta T. Stevenson, 76, of Bay Shore, New York, entered eternal life on January 15, 2016, while surrounded by her family at Southside hospital. Marletta was born on September 16, 1939, to her parents David and Marguerite Stevenson. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s college, received an MLS from St. John's University and worked as a library media specialist at Robert Frost Middle School from 1968 to 1998. Marletta was the president of her teacher union and local Red Hat Society. Marletta enjoyed taking her dog, Merry, to the dog park. She leaves behind a true legacy of love for her family and will be missed dearly by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many, many friends.
