McCORMACK- Marie (nee Mallon) of Seaford, Long Island died August 3 at home surrounded by family. Born and raised in Brooklyn she received a B.A. from St. Joseph’s College and an M.A. from SUNY Stony Brook. Esteemed teacher Seaford Manor School. Predeceased by her husband of 37 years, George Daly, and son Christopher. Loving mother of Maura Barry (Robert), Megan, Brian (Edyth), Patrick (Leslie), Colin, Monica Miller, Brendan, and dtr-in-law Mary Kay. Cherished grandmother of 8. Reposing Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd. Seaford (2 traffic lts. East of Rte 135). Mass of Christian burial Friday 10 am at St. William the Abbot R.C. Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
