Margret Henrichs

With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude we announce the passing of our loving Mother and Oma, Margret Henrichs.  Margret was born on April 8, 1936 in Eiserfeld, Germany and emigrated to America in 1956 to join the love of her life, Leo.   She was a longtime resident of Lynbrook, NY before moving to Rockville Centre, NY in 1988.  She was a proud mother to three children, and a loving Oma to seven grandchildren and two great grandsons.  She was adored by her family, friends and neighbors.

Margret was predeceased by her husband, Leopold Henrichs, and her beloved daughter, Annette Gilley.  She is survived by her son, Michael Henrichs (April), and by her daughter, Christine Clark.  She adored and was so proud of her grandchildren – Daniel Gilley (Angela), Elizabeth Henrichs, Erik Henrichs (Ashley), Alexis Clark, Charles Clark, Christopher Clark and Devon Nelson – and great grandchildren – Austin and Leo Gilley. Reposing Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, NY (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Religious Service to be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 6:00 PM.  Funeral Thursday, March 9th 10AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at at Locust Valley Cemetery.
