Devoted father of Jennifer Hill (Jeremy), Taryn Grimaldi (Tim) and step-father of Ronald Schmitt (Felicia) and Daniel (Joanna). Dear brother of Lillian Murray and Joan Solomon. Cherished grandfather of Mikaila, Matthew, Addison, Hunter and Laila. Also survived by his loving dogs; Bear and Moose. Reposing Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, N.Y. (2 traffic lights east of Route 135). Religious Service Wednesday 11 am at the Funeral Home. Private Cremation to follow.
