Joseph A. Festa

Joseph Festa at the age of 88 passed peacefully on December 1st, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Susan (nee Maher). He was the cherished father to sons Andrew, Matthew and Daniel (Jillian) and Papa to his amazing granddaughters Emily, Christine and Molly. Dear brother of Bernadette & Susan. Joseph is predeceased by his beloved daughter Mary and sister Marie. 

Joseph was a volunteer Fireman in Seaford for 10 years, and Massapequa for 56 years. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1962.

Reposing Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 2-4PM & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc. Firematic service will be held Friday evening at the funeral home at 7:30 PM. Disposition will be private.
