Joseph Byrne

BYRNE - Joseph, on August 25, 2022, of Plainview, NY (formerly of Wantagh).  Lifetime member Knights of Columbus Memorare Council.  Proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.  Beloved husband of the late Rita.  Loving father of John (Miriam), Michael (Laura), Joseph (Amy), Anne Tumbarello (Joseph), Susan Valente, and Regina Millman. Cherished grandfather of 16 and adored great grandfather of 8.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Reposing Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:45 AM at St.William the Abbot R.C. Church, Seaford, NY.  Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
