Joseph P. Brady

BRADY – Joseph P., on September 6, 2013, of Seaford. (formerly of Ozone Park, Queens). Honorary retired member of the Memorare Council. Served on the USS Forrestal as a Naval Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Brooklyn Union Gas and Keyspan for 37 years. Beloved husband of Patricia. Dear son of the late Ann and Edward Brady. Dear brother of Edward (Marge) and the late Eileen Katz. Devoted father to Frank Sorrentino (Valerie), Kathleen Scheller, Michael Brady (Melinda), and John Brady (Michelle). Dear grandfather to Dr. Michael Sorrentino, Matthew and Steven Sorrentino, Evan and Cameron Scheller, Blayze Miller, Isabella, Owen and Nicholas Brady, and Carson Brady. Reposing Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135) Mass of Christian burial Tuesday 10 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
