Joseph Anthony Sander

May 17, 1939 – March 28, 2026

Born May 17, 1939 in Queens Village, NY to the late Charles and Elizabeth Sander. He is predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth, Charles, and Paul.

He is survived by his wife Maureen Sander of 60 years, and his three sons and their families. Philip (Catherine), Steven (Danielle), and Michael (April) and his seven grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, Jack, Mackenzie, Hailey, Kyle, and Ethan.

He worked for more than 30 years in the advertising industry. He worked his way up from the mailroom to the VP of Finance.

He was a loving son, husband and brother, an incredible father, a proud grandfather, a wonderful uncle and a loyal friend.

He led by example with his faith and was full of so much knowledge and fun facts that he loved to share.

He celebrated his family birthdays with love and celebrated Christmas with lots of fun packages for everyone who walked through our front door.

His love, strength, and faith will stay with our family forever.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at 11:00am
