John E. Zeller

ZELLER - John E., of East Islip, NY, on February 16, 2026. Member of CWA Local Union, the National Railway Historical Society (Sunrise Trail Chapter), Antique Radio Club, LI Blues Society, National Audubon Society and was an avid supporter of various wildlife and nature organizations. Beloved partner of Deborah Diamond and ex-husband of Arlene Blackington King. Loving father of Jessica Zeller-D’Amato (Andrew). Also survived by his sister, Marjorie Zeller, Mark and Janine Richter, Greg and Antigone Thorne and their daughter, Taylor, and best friend, Louis Cioffi. Pre-deceased by his beloved sister, Marilyn Thorne (Robert). 

Reposing Friday February 20th, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Religious Service Friday, 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Saturday, February 21st, 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at 11:00 AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
