John F. Finan

John F. Finan, 79, long time resident of Seaford, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Loving husband to Ellen (nee Lewis) of 53 years.

Beloved father of Michele (Nicholas) Manolis, Karen (Christopher) Buran, and Leslie (Jack) Zuccon.

Proud Grandfather to Christopher, Catherine, Ava, Elizabeth, Henry and John Francis.

John is survived by his sister Jeanne Southard.

John served proudly in the US Navy 1962-1966. His first cruise was aboard the USS Wasp during the Cuban Missile Crisis. John also served on the USS Intrepid and enjoyed bringing his Grandchildren aboard the Intrepid Museum in NYC.

John's career as a Commercial Real Estate Property Manager in Midtown Manhattan spanned over 40 years with major NYC developers.

John was a devout Roman Catholic and long time, active parishioner of St William the Abbot RC Church in Seaford.

Interment to follow at Saint Charles Cemetery.
