John Calandra

On January 19, 2025, John Calandra (aka "Johnny Fish") passed away at the age of 91.  He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia.  He is survived by his son, John (Suzanne) and daughter, Kim Friscia (John), his cherished grandchildren John (Jennifer), Nicholas, Jayson, John Carlo, and his favorite sister, Edna Kennedy.  John loved spending time outdoors enjoying gardening, fishing and crabbing. He was a talented man that loved to draw, create and carve things out of wood and always put his own personal touch into everything he did.  Reposing Friday, January 24, 2025, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 25, 2025, 9:45 AM at Maria Regina R.C.
