Joan Julia Grimes (nee Lamb, Pflanz) 91, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023.
She was a loving mother to Stephen Pflanz (Debbie), Clare Kugler (Ted), Maryanne DiGregorio ((Frank), Virginia Lariviere (James), Carl Grimes (Doreen), Daniel Grimes (Rosemarie), Diane Racaniello (William), Richard Grimes (Ellen).
Beloved grandmother of 22, and great grandmother of 12.
Devoted to The Blessed Mother and a devout Catholic, her greatest achievement was raising a blended family of eight. She loved singing and dancing and being with her family. We couldn’t have asked for a more loving, caring mother.
Visitation: Monday, September 25th 2-4 & 7-9 PM
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 26th 9:30 AM
St. William the Abbot RC Church, Seaford, NY.
Interment to follow Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
