DESMOND - Joan T., (nee Roy) on January 6, 2021, of Seaford (formerly of Bellmore). Beloved wife of the late William J. Loving mother of William, Maureen (Richard), Daniel (Liz), James (Cathy), Joan Peter), and Thomas. Dear sister of Mary Lou Blasini, and Roberta Elliott. Also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass Tuesday, 1/12, 10:45 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church. Inurnment of cremains will follow at Long Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be private. Funeral arrangements handled by the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., Seaford.
