Jo-Ann Yeager is survived by her husband Harold, her children, Laurie, Michael and Danielle, her siblings Jack, Sue, Chris and Diane, and her mother Julia. She is the beloved “Nanny” to her grandchildren Samantha, Olivia, Bianca, Connor and Vienna.Jo-Ann loved her family. She was the kind of person who always tried to make others happy. A lot of what she did may have gone unnoticed, but it never stopped her from showing up for those she cared about. Jo-Ann found happiness in the little things in life. She loved books, she enjoyed reading, listening to audio books. She loved her local library and the “author” events they put on. She read almost everything Danielle Steel ever wrote. She had branched out to include many suspense novels such as the Woman’s Murder Series by James Patterson as well as many Nora Roberts books, while still sticking to her love of romance authors such as Karen White and Susan Mallory. And let’s not forget her love of the Harry Potter series. She was crafty, she cross stitched and crocheted. She made clothes for her children including dresses and psychedelic shorts. She made intricate Halloween costumes that always won prizes at the town costume contest. Jo-Ann made doll clothes for her children and then later for her grandchildren. She loved games and crossword puzzles. She played a daily game of “tiles” every afternoon with her husband, Harold. She loved dancing, whether it was country line dancing or just being out on the dance floor having fun. Jo-Ann loved beautiful and fancy things. She loved to decorate her house, whether it be a new statue, knick-knack or wall hanging. She liked gardening, except for weeding.Surrounding herself with beauty made Jo-Ann happy. She especially loved decorating for Christmas and made the holidays special in a way only she could. We can’t forget her beloved dog, Reggie. She would go to the dog park once or twice a day. She would take him for walks and enjoyed watching him play in the woods. She would look for new toys for Reggie, and she would get down on the floor and play with him. And boy did Reggie love her. He would always be by her side.

We will miss Jo-Ann in all the everyday ways that matter the most.

We will love you always.
