VALSECHI - James A., on January 1, 2017. Long time resident of Seaford. Proud U.S. Army WWII Veteran. Loving companion of Trudy von Bartheld for 40 ‘beautiful’ years. Devoted father of Diane & Stephen Laszlo , John & Patricia Valsechi, Gail Simeone, Laura, Peter & Jina von Bartheld, and the late Steven. Dear brother of Charles, and Ralph. Preceded in death by 6 siblings. Cherished grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of 18. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Cremation Private. Memorial Mass Thursday 11 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church. schmittfuneralhome.com
