Smith- James L. on April 30, 2020 of Massapequa. Beloved son of Elizabeth “Betty” and Franklin (Geraldine). Loving brother of Franklin “Buddy” (Colleen) and Christine “Chrissy” (Craig). Cherished uncle of Kimberly, Franky, Lindsey and Brady. Dear nephew and cousin.

Jimmy was a true fighter and always the happiest guy in the crowd. He was an avid New York Mets and San Francisco 49ers fan. He loved spending time with his family and watching his 49ers every Sunday. His trip to San Francisco with his bro meant so much to him. He will be so missed by all.

The family would like to thank Dr. Schneider, Shanna and his entire staff for all their years of personal and professional support. The family would also like to thank the neuro team and all the doctors and nurses at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Also, the family can’t express their love and gratitude enough to Frank and Gerry Tralongo for all they have done for Jimmy and our family.
