PETERSON – James J., Sr., on April 1, 2013, of The Villages, FL. (formerly of Massapequa ) Beloved husband of Barbara. Devoted father of James, Jr. (Arlene), Kevin, Barbara Sexton (Walter) and Dennis (Mary Beth). Also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren. Memorial Visitation Saturday 2-5 PM and religious service 4 PM, at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Road , Seaford . (2 Traffic Lts. East of Route 135) In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place , Memphis , TN 38105 , would be appreciated.
