BAUMANN, James G., on January 10, 2014. Longtime resident of Merrick. Former member of Nassau County Police Auxiliary – Merrick Unit. Proud US Army Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of Katherine. Devoted father of Stephen (Kathy) and Elise Heins (Stephen). Also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Stepheni, Thomas, Sarah, Stephanie and John. Reposing Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 traffic Lts. East of Route 135). Religious service Wednesday 10 AM @ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Seaford. Interment Greenfield Cemetery.
