Inez Berglund

Inez Berglund of Seaford, NY crossed over to be with the Lord on July 6, 2022. She was 94 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Laura, and her husband Bill, her daughter-in-law Mary and her husband Nick, her grandchildren Sabrina, Alexandra, Matthew, and Nicholas, and her sister Phyllis. She was predeceased by her son, Eric Berglund Jr., and her husband, Eric Berglund Sr., her sister Linda, and her brothers Harold and Melvin.

Inez was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and walked according to His commandments. She attended The First Baptist Church of Massapequa where she had many friends. She loved music and was a skilled piano player. Inez also enjoyed traveling, whether it was out to the East End of Long Island or going on a cruise. She loved people and was always delighted when a friend, neighbor, or family member came to see her. For many years she enjoyed "game day" with her friends.

Inez loved life and people. She will be remembered for many things, but especially for her deep and abiding faith and the way she made people feel.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday at 10am; burial will follow directly afterwards at Calverton National Cemetery.
