GONG (Thomas) Teung Huie, on November 17, 2018. Longtime resident of Wantagh. Beloved husband of Mui. Cherished father of Sonja (Joseph), Shirley, and Dixson (Alice). Adored grandfather of Chloe and Sophia. Tom is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tom was a tireless, hard working man who was dedicated to his family. He emmigrated from Taishan, Guangdong Province, China, through Ellis Island in 1939. He ran a local hand laundry business in Wantagh for 43 years with his wife, Mui. Tom was a proud citizen and U.S. Veteran serving in the Korean War. During his years of retirement, he enjoyed gardening, cooking and doting on his grandchildren.
