We are sad to announce the passing of Gerald Grieser.
Gerald "Jerry" Grieser was a beloved grandfather, father, and husband during his
wonderful 95 years of life. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday,
June 3A,2023.
Jerry was born in 1927 in Queens, New York. Jerry was a proud member of the
FDNY lar 4l years serving in L123 in Brooklyn, NY and E313 in Queens NY.
Jerry was also a veteran of the US Navy. After meeting his "Barbara Ann" they
moved to Long lsland to raise their family.
Jerry enjoyed the many camping trips with his family, BBQ with friends, trips
upstate in the autumn, and later in life the road trips with his wife down to Florida
for the winter months.
Jerry was also an avid fisherman who caught many many fish but never ate one.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara Grieser, and by his three children: Beth
Pallas and her husband, Jimmy; Bob Grieser and his wife, Nancy; and Ellen
Grieser and her partner Joe Donohue. He is also survived by his grandchildren:
Ted, Chrissy, Kayleigh, and Gabriella.
