George S. Smith of Massapequa on October 5th, 2025.  Beloved husband of Nancy for over 59 years.  Loving father of Kim Allstadt (Cliff), Nan Piccoli (Mike), Susan Weyer (Jim), Tim Smith (Leslie) and Michelle Martori (Eric).  Proud grandfather of Kyle, Billy, Emma, Hayley, Charlotte, Brandon and Alex.  Dear brother of Patricia Fischer and William Smith. Predeceased  by this brothers Richard, Jim and Russell Smith. George dedicated 28 years as a NYPD Detective in the 102 Precinct.  He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 3-7 PM

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 10th 10:00 AM

St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Massapequa, NY.
