Genevieve Asquino

Asquino, Genevieve of Seaford on June 26, 2012. Adored wife of Ralph Asquino whom she was married to for close to 65 years. Cherished mother of Anthony (Patricia), Ralph (Maureen), Thomas (Anne), Denise, Michael and Raymond (Tracy). Loving grandmother of nineteen and great-grandmother of seven. Genevieve proudly served her country as a Wave in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Shortly after the war ended, she landed a position at RCA Communications in New York where she met the love of her life, her husband Ralph. The rest is history and her large, loving family is her legacy. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and truly one of a kind. Genevieve, sweet Genevieve. Reposing Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, 3863 Merrick Road, Seaford (two traffic lights east of Rte 135.) Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 AM St. William the Abbot R.C. Church, Seaford. Interment to follow with military honors at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
