GILBERT – Frederick A., on September 4, 2014, of Wantagh. U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Long time member of the Wantagh Fire Department. Devoted father of Frederick (Liz), Donna Tuccio (David), and Barbara Hernandez (Stephen). Dear brother of Gladys Felder (Frank). Also survived by 4 cherished grandchildren: Kaila, Jenna, Stephen, and Matthew. Religious service Tuesday 8:00 pm at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd. Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Route 135). Cremation Private. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
