Fred J. Leibold

LEIBOLD –  Fred J., on May 18, 2024.  Long time resident of Seaford, NY. (formerly of Springfield Gardens, NY)  Proud WWII Navy Veteran.  Married to his sweetheart, Joan, for 75 years. He said she looked like Rita Hayworth to him the first time he saw her on the beach.  He loved golf, sudoku, jelly donuts and strawberry ice cream.  But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  He was a kind and gentle man with a quick sense of humor and was a great dad, Poppa, husband and friend.  He is survived by his 3 children, Joann, Freddy, and Kim, a son in law, Tom, a sister in law, Shari, and one special deceased son in law, Eric. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral will be held with his loving family.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
