Frank "Chick" Kimick, Jr.

KIMICK - Frank "Chick", Jr., on March 16, 2022, of Farmingdale.  Beloved husband of Ninette "Nina".  Devoted father of Stephen (Donna) and Frank (Diana).  Loving brother of John Kimick and Felicia Vollmer.  Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Bryan, Brianna, Matthew, Meagan, Nicholas and Jonathan.  Adored uncle of John, Cherylann, Chrystal and Gina.  Dear cousin of Marie and Stephen Giannotti (Stephen and Alyssa).  Frank was predeceased by his loving parents Martha Zimmardo Kimick and Frank Kimick, Sr.

Known by everyone as "Chick", Frank was the most generous, kind, fun-spirited, 'regular' guy you'd ever hope to meet.  He loved his wife, Nina, of 61 years as they were together since their teens and married very young.  They worked together everyday in Queens with Excel Printing and then out on Long Island at Talon Graphics in Seaford.  Frank loved being a printer and meeting all of his customers, even doing deliveries up until his last days.  His family was his life.  His grandchildren adored and admired him.  He had special relationships with each one of the 7 of them.  He cherished the close relationships he had with both of his siblings, John and Felicia.  He spoke to them everyday, joking and reminiscing about their lives growing up together as kids.  He loved traveling on cruises and was fond of all the restaurants on Long Island.  From bagels to pizza, "Chick" could have been one of the best food critics around.  He will be missed immensely by all of his family, friends and customers.  Please honor him with your memories and remember to smile when you think of him. Forever in our hearts he will be.............

Reposing Friday, March 18, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135).  Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 19, 9:15 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church, Seaford, NY.  Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
