Doreen Mccarty

Doreen McCarty, on December 13 ^th , 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  Doreen was a longtime resident of Middle Village, Queens and recently moved to Seaford to be closer to her loving son, Colin, along with her daughter-in-law Susan, and her granddaughter Amanda.  Doreen has entered into eternal life reuniting with her parents Michael & Mary McGee and her brothers John and Robbie.  She will be deeply missed by her brothers Michael (the late Sharon) and Brian (Kim) and her nephews and grandnephews, Robert (Angela), Dillon (Daniela), Kevin, Brian, Michael, and John.  Doreen was a nurse at Sloan Kettering Hospital for over four decades compassionately taking care of many people.  Doreen loved all aspects of New York City and was a staple in Montauk during the summers. Reposing Friday, December 16, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, NY 11783 (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 17, 2022, 9:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 2 Bayview Ave., Massapequa, NY 11758.  Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
