Caroline Dodge

DODGE – Caroline, on April 20, 2022, of Seaford.  She was our friend, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, James (Judith), Carol Dodge Bruton (John), and William (Karen).  Her son, John (Arlene), preceded her in death.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Erin, Keri, Corinne, Abigail, Star, Coryann, Melissa, Nathan, Jesse and Craig.  She is great grandmother to Jessica, Dillon, Bailey, Declan, Korbin, John and Emma and great great grandmother to Brooklyn.  Caroline is at rest with her beloved parents, Rose and Anthony Barone, brothers Victor and Frank, and sister, Mitzi, and her son, John.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Reposing Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford with a religious service to be held there at 4:30 PM. Disposition will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness in honor of a woman who was one of the kindest, gentlest souls to grace this earth.  Any monetary donations can be made in her memory, either online or by mail to: Catholic Charities of Long Island, 90 Cherry Lane, Hicksville, NY 11801.
