POWELL – Carla Jean, on December 5, 2023, of Seaford. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of William (Kate) and Janice (Robert). Dear sister of Mark Wurthmann (Andrea) and Christine Pennington. Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Brian (Alexandra), Valerie (fiancé Matthew), Michael, Olivia and Ryan and adored great grandmother of Kadence and Akasha. Reposing Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Religious service Thursday evening 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment Friday 11 AM at Grace Church Cemetery, Massapequa.
In lieu of flowers donations in Carla Jean's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
