Barbara Ann Troisi
October 1, 1943 – April 4, 2025
Barbara Ann Troisi, a vibrant spirit whose warmth and laughter lit up every room she entered, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 81. Born in Freeport, NY, to John and Eleanor White, Barbara grew up in Massapequa, where her strong work ethic and deep love for family began to blossom.
A proud and dedicated businesswoman, Barbara owned and operated several German delicatessens throughout her life. Her passion for hospitality and good food was only rivaled by her love of travel, painting, and a good card game shared with friends and family.
In her later years, Barbara embraced the sunshine of Florida, ultimately settling in The Villages with her beloved husband of 39 years, Thomas Troisi. Together, they enjoyed an active and joyful life filled with laughter, friendship, and adventure. Whether lounging on their lanai, exploring local restaurants, or dancing the night away at community parties, Barbara and Tom made the most of every moment. They were active members of several clubs, including the Honeymooners, and swimming groups—finding community and joy wherever they went.
Barbara’s beautiful smile, laugh, and ever-present sense of humor made her a friend to all. Known for her patience, quick wit, and unwavering kindness, she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her children Brian Uschok, Ronald Uschok (Emily), and Elizabeth (Lisa) McGrath, along with her cherished stepchildren Thomas Troisi (Donna), Michael Troisi (Ellyn), Steven Troisi (Nancy), and Christopher Troisi. One of her greatest joys in life was her growing family—eleven beloved grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her heart.
Barbara's legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in the memories of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
