Barbara B. Roth, on April 10, 2025.  Longtime resident of Seaford.  Barbara graduated from Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Nursing Program and Adelphi University.  Member of the National Nursing Honor Society.  Longtime employee of the Nassau County Dept. of Health Services.  Past President of the Seaford Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Beloved wife of Fred J., Jr.  Devoted mother of Ann Holland (George Jr.) and Kathryn Faass (Michael).  Cherished grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Culver, and the late Bethany Holland and great grandmother of Mackenna. Reposing Friday, April 18th, 2025, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, NY (2 Traffic Lights East of Rte. 135).  The Long Island Nurses Honor Guard Service will be held Friday, 7:30 PM, and the Fire Department Service will be held Friday, 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.  Religious Service, Saturday, April 19th 10:30 AM at the Seaford United Methodist Church.  Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Seaford United Methodist Church, 2160 Washington Ave., Seaford, NY 11783.
