Loving father of Eric, Diane Riedel, the late Arlene McCaffrey, and the late Virginia Ring. Dear brother of Doris Byrne. Grandfather of Brian Riedel, Kristian, Meegan, Zachariah, Shane, Jaydl, Jocelyn, and Sean. Reposing Today 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, (2 Traffic Lts. East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 9:15 AM at St. William the Abbot RC Church. Burial to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 245 Old Country Rd., Melville, NY 11747, would be appreciated.
