Anna Fattori, 98 peacefully on April 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Care Center in West Islip, New York.
She was born on January 27, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York to Angelina and Vincent Giangreco. She resided her entire life in Brooklyn where she worked for and retired from Prudential Insurance Company of America. She also worked at Hinsch's Ice Cream Parlor on 86th Street in Bay Ridge until she retired at the age of 85. She spent many happy years working there, especially Easter when she assembled many baskets with love.
She was the beloved and devoted mother of the late Cynthia Nevins, who predeceased her in 2001, and Patricia Peaslee. She was the loving mother-in-law of Robert Nevins and Arthur Peaslee and devoted and loving grandmother of Dawn (Gino), Christopher and Timothy Nevins, and Donna Willis(Matt), and Daniel Peaslee.
She was always a fixture at all our family events and shared many very happy times and holidays with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families. She was treasured by all and she will be greatly missed.
We know we will see her again when we are reunited in heaven with all her beloved siblings, Tessie, Louie, Frankie, Mildred, and Lucy and her parents, Angie and Jim.
May we continue to make the world beautiful with kindness and compassion as she did. May she rest in peace.
