Albert J. Zieminski

August 1, 1925 — February 28, 2022

Seaford

Albert J. Zieminski served in the Navy in World War II and enjoyed traveling the country everywhere he was stationed.  He always had a passion for planes.  He was an aviation mechanic for Republic Aviation until they closed, and he then worked and retired from the Seaford Post Office.

Albert was a man of dignity and always respectful.  He loved his boat and fishing, especially with his wife Loretta.  He was passionate about and known for his beautiful gardens and enjoyed when family, neighbors and friends took some of his plants for their own garden.

Above all and most important to Al was his family.  He was a responsible, loving, caring and devoted husband to his wife Loretta.  They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on April 28, 2021.  He was a caregiver, also always there his entire life for his three children, Lorraine, Stephen and Ken.  Caring, loving happy go lucky Stephen, born disabled was the apple of his eye.  He always had a warm smile.  His biggest enjoyment was when the family were together at the house.

Al lived a healthy, active life up until he died at the age of 96.  No one can take his vacant place.  May he rest in peace.
